There must be something seriously wrong with the organization called Black Lives Matter if Leo Terrell, a Democrat black activist, doesn’t approve of what they are doing. It is obvious, though, that something sinister is in the works at the organization. They, as Terrell has so eloquently described, have failed The Black community miserably. It seems that the only black lives that matter to them are those whose tragedies can be used as a tool to cause racial controversy. Black on black murders that are occurring in the triple digits weekly, are of no concern to Black Lives Matter, only racially diverse crime gets their attention. Hmmm, seems to me that they are the racists here. 

Before President Obama was elected, racial discord was minimal in America. The President and sidekick Eric Holder, however, found it necessary to use racially charged rhetoric at every opportunity, and fan the few embers of racism that remained into full blown forest fires. They repeatedly inserted racially charged comments in several high profile cases. In every instance, President Obama made public appearances, spewing this hateful racist rhetoric prior to any known facts of these cases were revealed. In every case, Obama was incorrect in all of his assumptions. Obama’s racially charged statements were responsible for not only loss of life, but bodily harm and millions in damages from the ensuing riots that broke out as a result, particularly in the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Mo.

The press conferences and media in The Ferguson Case, were accompanied with a “Mr. Goody Two Shoes” photo of Brown in a cap and gown, but were actually a far cry from the criminal thug that committed the “strong arm” robbery moments before assaulting a police officer, again, in a “strong arm” manner, that Brown outweighed by fifty pounds or more, where he tried to disarm the officer in an attempt to kill him. The officer was discharged, and had to go into hiding for fear for his life before any trial date had been set. 

This is where The B.L.M. “movement” got started. It was started under false pretenses, and continues under those same parameters. The organization claims it is for social justice, but in actuality, its mission is civil discourse. B.L.M. has aligned itself with the” Defund Police” movement, an objective of the domestic terror group that calls themselves Antifa, that is mostly funded mostly by Socialist George Soros. Antifa is supposed to be short for “anti – fascism”, but ironically it functions exactly as a fascist organization themselves. Their tactics of looting and burning of property and businesses mimics exactly the tactics used by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi thugs in the late thirties and early forties when he attempted to rid his country of the Jews that operated most of the successful businesses at the time. Like Antifa, these tactics only led to the demise of Germany from within.

Racial Justice in America

I agree that more needs to be done to reduce racial inequality and perhaps it should start with ending the policies that require lower aptitude scores for Blacks and People of Color. The Collegiate Aptitude tests, Civil Service tests, such as the Fire Department, Police, and Sanitation workers, the medical profession, and even Social Services give special considerations for “minorities”. The requirements for these aptitude or achievement tests can be as much as thirty points lower for minorities. According to Black Lives Matter, “we do need to do more”. In this case, less would do more.

There are even discussions now because of the protests, about reversing the decision that repealed Affirmative Action; a law from the seventies requiring certain percentages of Minorities to be hired, regardless of their skill level for the position.

I witnessed this first hand back in the eighties, in the Carpenters Union, where twenty percent was the minority hiring standard. Minority workers would show up, and it was mandatory that they receive at least two hours pay. These totally unskilled workers would be hired at an absurd minimum scale wage, at the time, of fifteen dollars an hour, but have to be dismissed at morning “coffee break” because of their unwillingness to do any work at all. They were paid at lunch time when the checks came, and a whole different crowd would arrive the next morning. Needless to say, you can imagine what this did for both moral, and productivity on the job.

Perhaps white people need to tip their hats and bow to their superiors, or maybe lay their coats in puddles to allow minority folks to pass. The problem is that minorities have been given too many unequal opportunities and have become entitled, which has led to generational poverty and expecting a government check every month. All these failed policies designed through Democratic legislation to give People of Color a “leg up” have failed miserably, and are now coming back to bite society in the ass. These policies deprived minorities of the incentives to actually be “equal” to their white counterparts. 

Now Congress is considering more legislation. The last time Congress acted on this inequality issue, it was written into law that lenders could no longer require minorities to need any income verification to obtain a mortgage. This massive blunder was the most significant cause for the financial crash in 2008, leaving the financial industry in ruin for the following four years, and costing taxpayers trillions in unfunded debt liability.

 To truly have equality more must be required of minorities, not less.

Black Lives Matter

My heart goes out to the Floyd family. The suffering that Mr. Floyd endured at the hands of these overzealous cops should never happen in this country. I think most of us have to agree, though that these protests have flown way off the rails. Protests that were supposed to honor him have now disparaged him.

In this country, when a crime is committed, a person is tried and sentenced for that crime. The sentence is supposed to be designed as a deterrent to others. There is little doubt, from the video evidence that excessive force was applied in this case, but we don’t throw out all our laws because of this. It appears, however, that the protesters would prefer that form of punishment over the current justice system that we have. Calls to abolish and dismantle the police departments that are being made, particularly by the organization Black Lives Matter, would lead to exactly that. If Black Lives Matter really cared about Black lives, there would be calls for more police, not fewer. 

What the hell do you think is meant by calling a community “underserved”. It simply means that there aren’t enough cops to deter the amount of crime being committed. These “underserved” communities are where the most crime occurs. Particularly, and disproportionately, Black on Black violent crime. Although some Black Activists would like us all to believe that the protests are about racism in America, racism actually has little to do with it with regard to both the policies of police departments, and the criminal activity. All these police and other civil service departments, ironically coincide with Democrat managed cities. These cities have already deferred money from their budgets away from their civil service departments to other coffers in an attempt to balance their bloated budgets. 

Most of these protesters are simply young, out of work, and school, young people because of the covid-19 epidemic. They are trying to force America to submit to a misguided Socialist ideology that has been drummed into their minds by Liberal academia, of a new world order, applying race as leverage. Racism is not a disease like Covid-19, as they want us to believe. It is learned behavior, and it is not exclusive of any one particular race. There are, unfortunately, Blacks that hate Whites, Native Americans that hate Latinos, Asians that hate Blacks, and any other combination that can be conjured up. 

I am now seeing ads on television, where it looks like these White people have a gun to their head, saying “we have to do better” a product of this liberal “white privilege” nonsense . There are racial injustices, but that doesn’t mean all White people are guilty of it. There are those that have to do better, but it spans all races. Black people have to stop allowing “Privileged Black Activists” from pigeon-holding them into victim-hood. Just as all White people are not racists, all Black people are not victims of it.

In the American justice system even the worst criminal offenders are innocent until proven guilty. Isn’t it convenient for these “Racial Justice Warriors” that for someone who is accused of racism has no way to prove that they are innocent? The accusation does not meet the standards for which all are judged in America. If The Congress is to write laws that protect those from racial injustice, it must also write laws to protect the accused. A person or persons making the accusation must be required to prove the guilt of the accused, beyond question, no person should be assumed guilty until proven innocent.  Otherwise there is no rule of law in America.

When the fear of being labeled a racist outweighs the construct of law and order in this country we are doomed to failure as a nation.

Jussie Smollet’s Racist Stunt

The actor Jussie Smollett has taken a page right from the racist playbook of Al Sharpton. He unfortunately has fueled the fire of racial divide in this country by accessing the will of Democrats to prosecute someone before trial.

 His claims of an attack by people wearing M.A.G.A. hats is what now appears to be some sort of sick twisted publicity stunt. The so called assailants have been picked up by police and admit that Smollett orchestrated the whole thing.

Al Sharpton launched his career back in the eighties by representing a black woman found naked along the highway in Dutchess County N.Y. late at night, who claimed she had been assaulted by the police. Dutchess County police officers were placed on administrative leave, and there was a concerted attempt by Sharpton and other black leaders to discredit the police as well as the department. Racial tensions in the area grew to a fever pitch, just as the reaction to Smollett’s little stunt is doing. As it turns out the Tawana Brawley was in fact lying both to Sharpton and investigators. In fact the incident was a result of a domestic dispute between Brawley and her family. Both Al Sharpton and Tawana Brawley were sued for defamation of character by one of the alleged accused attackers, Steven Pagones, the New York prosecutor. Pagones won his suit against Sharpton and Brawley.

People who perpetuate these kinds of fabrications need to be severely punished. The swift judgmental responses by Liberals eager to indict those accused need to cool their jets and wait for real evidence to emerge before stirring the racial tensions in this country any further. The remarks made by Pelosi and other Congressional leaders on Twitter need to be retracted with apologies to those at whom the remarks were made.

9/11 Bill for First Responders

The hypocrisy is so blatant it’s astounding! Did anyone else see the interview where the president stated,  “I think they passed it without reading what was in it.”  Does this guy even bother to hear himself? The b.s. never  stops with this administration, 350 to 1 in favor to override, but everyone else is wrong. Does he remember that the Obamacare law was passed without being fully read?

 I can’t wait till this arrogant racist is out of the oval office. I strongly believe, if it weren’t for race, this president would have been impeached before he served a second term! It is a shame that the race card can be used to obstruct justice, even in the most obvious cases. There needs to be legislation passed for this travesty, where if found that racial discrimination is used as a defense for illegal activity, and it is found to be a factor, felony penalties should be imposed.

The use of race as leverage to gain benefit from the rest of society has become far to common to just look the other way. Ferguson, Baltimore, Obama’s rhetoric with regard to Trayvon Martin and the professor at Columbia, and now the incident in Charlotte where civil society is being held hostage by this criminal activity should no longer be tolerated.

Somehow the message is being interpreted by the African American community that racial difference is a valid reason to disobey the commands of law enforcement, which has been the root cause, it seems of most of these unfortunate interactions with police. It is not the police that need retraining, it is  the African American communities that need to learn that the law applies to everyone, regardless of race that is what racial equality means!

It is the liberal entitlements to these communities that have left the deficiency in judgement to these folks. They are so used to being treated with kid gloves, they have lost the ability for reasonable objectivity.
