Democrat Boycott

The only message that these Democratic defectors are sending, is that when it comes time for re-election, they need to be voted out of office. Any elected official that does not participate in this very special process to Inaugurate the incoming president, does not deserve to serve their district. They are, very simply put, placing their interests ahead of their constituents, who they have promised to serve.

Elected officials are by definition, public servants, and have taken an oath to be sworn in as such. If Republicans pulled this crap when Obama was to be sworn in, they would have been labeled as racists. These Democrats are demonstrating that they are un-american. They should step down and allow more honorable willing candidates to serve our country. Anyone living in any of these districts and states where these representatives are from, should seriously reconsider your vote for any of these individuals when their terms are due. Frankly, immediate impeachment procedure of these congressmen and women should begin right after the inauguration.
